BEFORE YOU START
Prerequisites
Your feed URL (you'll need this for both platforms):

PLATFORM 1
Apple Podcasts
1.
Go to podcastsconnect.apple.com
2.
Sign in with your Apple ID (create one if you don't have one)
3.
Click the + button (top left)
4.
Paste your feed URL:
https://likeobjects.neocities.org/podcast.xml
5.
Apple will validate the feed. If there are errors, it will tell you what to fix.
6.
Click Submit
7.
Wait for approval. Usually takes 1 to 5 days. You'll get an email.
8.
Once approved, copy your Apple Podcasts URL (looks like
https://podcasts.apple.com/podcast/your-show/id123456789)
9.
Open index.html on Neocities and replace the
# in the Apple Podcasts badge with your URL
Apple re-checks your feed roughly every 24 hours. New episodes show up within a day of updating your podcast.xml.
PLATFORM 2
Spotify
1.
Go to podcasters.spotify.com
2.
Sign in with your Spotify account (or create one, it's free)
3.
Click Get Started
4.
Paste your feed URL:
https://likeobjects.neocities.org/podcast.xml
5.
Spotify will preview your podcast info. Confirm it looks right.
6.
Verify ownership. Spotify may send a code to the email in your feed, or verify through the feed itself.
7.
Once verified, your podcast goes live on Spotify. Usually within a few hours.
8.
Copy your Spotify show URL (looks like
https://open.spotify.com/show/abc123)
9.
Open index.html on Neocities and replace the
# in the Spotify badge with your URL
Spotify polls your feed for new episodes. Updates usually appear within a few hours of changing podcast.xml.
